The ObservatoryOne minute: one value into the next hour
Choose one thing to care about in the coming hour, and carry it with you
How it works
- Choose itChoose
- Carry itWrite
Not the whole of life. Just the next hour. What do you want it to be carried by: care, courage, curiosity, patience, honesty? Choose what feels most true right now, not what sounds nicest.
Exercise in 2 steps, about 1 minutes. Doing it is part of Premium, which you try free for 7 days with no card. With Premium your answers are saved so you can pick up where you left off and look back at what you wrote.

Why does it work?
Deliberately aiming a short stretch of action at a chosen value, rather than at whatever feels most comfortable right then, is the basic principle of values work in ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). A single hour has not been studied in isolation, but the mechanism, that values rather than mood steer action, is well established (e.g. Hayes et al.).
Account, your first assessment with the hexagon and one new measurement every quarter are free. The rest is part of Premium: SEK 99 a month or SEK 699 a year, VAT included.
