Most good moments pass without our noticing them. The enjoyment log is a standing place to put them: not once, but every time something good happens.

Why does it work?
Savoring, meaning staying with and working through a positive experience rather than just registering it and moving on, is linked in research to higher well-being over time (Bryant & Veroff, 2007). Making it a standing, repeated habit has not been studied separately, but it builds on the same field of research.
